Back in October we granted £1,722.44 to St. Elizabeth’s’ hospice to buy equipment for the new dedicated children’s room. The room will provide an interactive space to enable children and young people to express and explore their thoughts and feelings.
Along with the grant, Pound Gates, Contior and Sevatas Staff were also able to provide volunteers to help decorate the space and cover the cost of some of the paint.
The room was decorated on Saturday 25th November by Ally, Claire and Kayleigh along with Tracy from Suffolk Community Foundation, and they did a great job! Claire, who had never decorated before got lots of tips and advice from the pro’s in the room Ally and Tracy and they soon had her hard at work. The fabulous four worked really hard and managed to have the job done by early afternoon.
