We recently agreed to support the Dame Vera Lynn Trust who are a charity based in Sproughton near Ipswich.
The Dame Vera Lynn Trust are the only service in Suffolk providing conductive education for children with cerebral palsy and other motor learning difficulties. We agreed to fund £500 from our Acorn Fund with the Suffolk Community Foundation to help purchase an iPod touch and iPad for the benefit and use with the children.
Three members of our staff visited this morning and met with Sara White (Fundraiser). We observed the children interacting with the new equipment, which has certainly made a real difference already. The team members pictured in the photo are Craig Albon (Claims Technician) and Dave Collins (Chair of our Charity Committee).
