This Christmas our teams across Pound Gates, Sevatas and Contior have supported three local charities: Suffolk Community Foundation, Fresh Start New Beginnings and FIND (Ipswich). Here’s how…
Suffolk Community Foundation
We dedicated 13 December to fund-raising for Suffolk Community Foundation. By making a donation, to wear our Christmas jumpers and eat delicious food provided by our staff, we raised funds to support the Foundation’s Surviving Winter Appeal.
We also made a £1,000 donation to our Acorn Fund, in place of sending Christmas cards. Our Acorn Fund is a partnership with the Foundation that awards grants to local causes and charities. You can read more about the Acorn Fund and the impact of our grants here.
Fresh Start New Beginnings
Over several days in December our staff volunteered to fundraise for the charity Fresh Start New Beginnings. Located in M&S Ipswich, our teams rattled the buckets to encourage shoppers to spare their extra change for the charity.
Fresh Start New Beginnings supports children and young people across Suffolk and Norfolk who have been sexually abused, and help to move them from victim to survivor. We are a long-time supporter of the charity and our teams where delighted to once again help with fundraising. You can find out more about the charity here.

FIND (Ipswich)
Our staff have donated an array of food and household items for Families in Need (FIND) Ipswich, who donate over 7,000 food parcels, to those in need, each year.
Here, Sharon List, Asha Babooram, Shirley Mills and Gemma Luther are preparing to make our delivering to the charity.
From the teams at Pound Gates, Sevatas and Contior we wish you and your families a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
