In October 2013 we agreed to fund £970.59 for the Ipswich Community Playbus from our Acorn Fund with Suffolk Community Foundation. Their purpose is to advance the education of children below compulsory school age by providing or assisting in the provision of group play facilities in Ipswich so that conditions of life may be improved. The money allowed them to purchase and replace toys and craft materials. Three members of our staff recently visited the playbus to see for themselves how the money had been spent.
