Music in Our Bones is a charity created to unite people and overcome isolation through music and singing. Music in our Bones was set up in 2007 with a passionate belief that everyone should have the chance to sing with others and singing helps enable people to connect with their own emotions and with others. They run 6 different groups across Suffolk with each group catering to different people.
The grant of £1,190 will be used to part-fund a women’s only group called Lifting Spirits. This group will support those with mental health difficulties, those who have experienced domestic abuse, family cares and those suffering with long term health issues amongst other things. The sessions will be held at Northgate Library every other Monday
