Following a recent Grants Panel meeting with Suffolk Community Foundation, we agreed to support the Stowmarket & Area Opportunity Group to the sum of £1,308 from our Acorn Fund.
This charity provide safe and satisfying group play for the advancement of the education of children with special needs and our £1,308 contribution will pay for the Playleader’s salary costs for delivering the Opportunity Group sessions this year.
Del Sharman (Charity Committee member), Viv Simpson (Client Service Advisor) and Rob Appleton (Marketing Manager) visited the charity earlier this week and met the Playleader herself.
